The book recently received a nice review in Professional Artist magazine. You can purchase the issue here.
G&E, Grabado y Edicion, Print and Art Edition Magazine, Madrid also published a review. I published an article Mouhanga Renaissance with them last year, and you can subscribe to this excellent publication here.
An excellent interview by Misako Yomosa about the book and my show in Tokyo was published on the front page of issue 49 of Washi-Dayori Review, Kyoto, Japan. In Japanese.

After the success of its inaugural year in 2014, CENTRAL BOOKING is bringing back Buy the Book Fair as a yearly event in our Lower East Side space. As part of New York Print Week organized by the International Fine Print Dealers Association in conjunction with the Annual IFPDA Print Fair, Buy the Book Fair 2015 features print and the artist’s book, with exhibitors from around the country and the world in an intimate gallery setting. Last year there was nothing but kudos for the diversity and quality of all the exhibitors and ongoing demonstrations/participatory events. Not to mention the opportunity to view what is new at CENTRAL BOOKING and our over 120 artists who work with book art. http://www.ifpda.org/content/print-fair/print-week http://centralbookingnyc.com/galleries/buy-the-book-fair-2015/

View the drawing show by gallery artists; meet the book author; see some of the tools and prints illustrated in the book. Kentler International Drawing Space has a special connection with Japanese woodcut since the gallery hosted the show New York Mokuhanga last fall.
Artist and teacher April Vollmer has made an exemplary book…a beautiful book with her attention to the details and process described in “Japanese Woodblock Print Workshop.” She has brought together an expansive viewpoint on the influence of mokuhanga prints and watercolor printing technique into the wider circle of international contemporary artists, an art that gives voice to our time in an inherently beautiful way.
